Cleanaway dangerous goods store

The project improved the operational and storage capacity of an existing waste management facility. With a focus on minimising impacts on existing operations, works included:

• Early works including levelling the site

• Connecting new services into existing reticulated services for water and electricity

• Constructing 4hr-fire-rated concrete external walls and associated fire doors; self-draining floor over chemical storage spill tanks; automatic rapid roller door for forklift access and emergency exit doors

• Pumps and tanks with full sprinkler system including all electrical installation to comply with Zone 2 Hazardous certification

• Concrete and asphalt work between the new store and existing infrastructure
