The new clubhouse will be set into the existing landscape providing secure semi-basement areas with undercroft parking for golf carts. The basement area also includes a cart washdown zone, equipment storage, keg store, cold room/ freezer for the restaurant/café/bar located at ground level, as well as a storage room for the pro-shop. The ground floor and undercroft areas are serviced by a goods lift to enable kegs and other heavy goods to be easily transported from one level to the other. The new clubhouse restaurant/café/bar incorporates alfresco dining, featuring natural finishes such as timber cladding, floor to ceiling commercial grade glazed elements, honed concrete floors internally, exposed aggregate concrete paths externally, and a high level of fully reticulated landscaped areas surrounding the building and newly formed car parking areas. In addition to these features, the clubhouse features state of the art change rooms, admin/reception area, and a decorative breezeway leading from the pro-shop to the golf course entry point.
Being located on the coast, EMCO Building carefully selected materials and fixings, capable of withstanding the harsh coastal environment, and to ensure compliance with the BAL-19 rated bushfire zone the project is located within.
