Construction of Operational Facilities in Geraldton

CSIRO Support Facility Geraldton project was completed in February 2013.

The project included the construction of a state of the art facility to house commercial offices, operation facilities, electronics workshops, mechanical workshops, and data storage areas. Additionally, EMCO Building delivered a hardstand and car parking area for 7 cars adjoining the loading facility with storm water drainage and enclosed by a security fence with mechanical sliding gate operated by secure swipe card and a fire exit gate.

EMCO Building’s scope of works also included:-

  • Fittings, services, finishes, and furniture ready for occupancy by CSIRO staff.
  • A bitumen sealed car park facility for 10 spaces.
  • A compacted gravel/CRB car park for approximately 33 spaces with stormwater drainage and paved pathway to GUC Facility.
  • Landscaping and beautification to conform to extant GUC surrounds.
