D&C Project - Construction of 125 apartments consisting of 7 buildings ranging from 2 to 5 storeys with a basement carpark. The separate buildings boast different shapes with varying heights to create a streetscape that is interesting and unique.
The Bottleyard is steeped with history, with bottles found during excavation works dating back to 1912, many important artefacts are now displayed in the WA Museum. Other bottles that were found not intact are now displayed as beautiful artwork throughout.
In the late 1800's the site was set up as a market garden, which is why the Bottleyard features a Central Urban Garden providing both herbs and vegetables as well as a shaded retreat for all residents to use as a place to entertain guests or read a book in the picturesque surroundings. A separate residents only Rooftop Terrace is also available, providing residents with another private area to relax and take in the panoramic views of the Perth CBD.
However, the highlight of the building is the roof top 260KW Solar Photovoltaic Array, which is one of the largest multi-residential PV arrays in the Southern Hemisphere.
