New Design Manager for EMCO Building

New Design Manager for EMCO Building

24 Nov 2020

EMCO Building would like to announce the addition of a new member to the team. Tony Goodsell joins us in the position of Design Manager and brings a wealth of knowledge in that role having worked for a number of renowned Construction and Architectural firms.

Tony has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and can provide unique insights that facilitate high-quality value solutions on both D&C and ECI projects. He is an integral part of the EMCO Building Pre-contracts team, providing initial analysis of potential projects and offering advice throughout the Pre-contract phase. However, Tony’s input will go far beyond our D&C / ECI projects and we look forward to his positive influence on all our projects during the tender, design, and construction delivery stages.

Throughout his career, Tony has proven to be a capable achiever, working on high profile projects such as the Old Treasury Building Office Tower and Curtin University Student Accommodation in Kalgoorlie, along with residential apartment buildings ranging in value from $10m to $100m, such as the Leighton Beach (by Mirvac) Apartments and Townhouse Project located in North Fremantle.

Importantly, Tony has genuine experience in the field of modular construction from project inception to project completion - involving the design, overseas fabrication, quality control, transportation, installation, and final delivery of bespoke modular construction projects. Overall, it’s fair to say that Tony is Perth’s most experienced Modular Construction professional.

Given the vast number of D&C / ECI projects currently on the table for EMCO Building, Tony’s input will be highly valued by the client and the project team. EMCO Building has been nominated as Preferred Contractor on six (6) key D&C / ECI projects with a combined valued of over $100m. This is in addition to EMCO Building’s D&C projects currently in the later stages of delivery such as the Glyde Street Apartments in Mosman Park ($13m) and Treehouse Apartments in Jolimont ($22m). This project pipeline will provide the opportunity for Tony to lead and grow the Design Management department further as the business undertakes more D&C and ECI projects.

Welcome aboard Tony.
