Cockburn Central Fire Station Progress

Cockburn Central Fire Station Progress

18 May 2020

The team at EMCO Building have completed the main portion of earthworks to the site, with our specialist contractor importing approximately 15,000m3 of clean fill to reach the designed levels. The main building and dormitory building have stage 1 footings installed and both hydraulic and electrical service installations have progressed well.
The project team is also working diligently in the background on the completion of several critical items such as the new sewer connection, upgrades of services, and the tracking of key planning targets.
The project’s unidirectional site access lends itself to streamlined site works management. Given the proximity to heavy traffic on North Lake Rd, this element is key to eliminating disruption to the public.
EMCO Building’s commitment to minimising any disruption to neighbours and the local community, continues to ensure we maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders.
The Cockburn Fire Station will be a standout building, and we look forward to the rapid delivery of a quality product.
