AEGIS Shoreline Aged Care Facility Development Update

AEGIS Shoreline Aged Care Facility Development Update

11 May 2020

Another milestone achieved on the new AEGIS Aged Care Development as the project ticks over to more than 2/3 of way to completion.

The building is really starting to take shape as we see the completion of the structural steel and near completion of the roof, providing a watertight environment for the finishes works to progress on the lower floors. The perfect views of North Coogee from the upper floors are a sight to behold.

Internally, the brickwork is close to completion and all rooms have been built. The ground floor Fit out has been progressing solidly and is rapidly approaching completion along with painting of the internal walls and ceilings. The high level of finish will complement the ambience of the entire development.

The mechanical equipment continues installation in the plant rooms; just in time for the cooler months; and will ensure a temperature-controlled environment for the remainder of the works.

Externally, rendering and cladding has started with the final fa├žade colours nominated.

We are excited by the work that has been produced thus far.
