Glyde St Luxury Apartments Update

Glyde St Luxury Apartments Update

15 Jun 2020

The team at EMCO Building have now moved to the final accommodation level (level 5), with work commencing on the roof structure and only the roof terrace slab remaining to be poured.
Erection of the AFS walls has flowed well with only a small amount required for the roof terrace. This will see the completion of all AFS walls for the project.

We are currently working in the lower accommodation levels with ceiling and wall linings well underway with fit-out trades now on site.

External works have commenced with the coloured acratex coating applied on the western wall and the southern wall nearing completion.

There are many challenges still apparent with traffic management for large vehicles arriving at site on a regular basis. The EMCO site management team has shown tremendous skill in effectively managing these issues and thereby mitigate any downstream issues.

EMCO’s commitment to minimising any disruption to neighbours and the local community continues to ensure a strong relationship with all stakeholders in the area.

The overall structure has gained the height very close to the completed levels. The view of the surrounding neighbourhood and ocean has all those involved enjoying the amazing scenery in the final stages of this project.

EMCO Building is pleased to be working with the following teams to deliver a quality project.

Client: Fabric Property

Architect: MJA Studio

  • Structural Engineer - Forth Consulting
  • Mechanical Engineer - Melchor
  • Electrical Engineer - Floth Consultants
  • Hydraulic Engineer – Tim Peach & Associates
