Fitzgerald St Office Development Update

Fitzgerald St Office Development Update

8 Jun 2020

Another project milestone achieved for our Fitzgerald St Project with the installation of our first Delta Core hollow floor planks.

Last week saw the team return to site fresh off the WA Day long weekend, ready for a big days work and the commencement of the rigging and installation of the project’s first Delta Core hollow floor planks.

With our diesel pump delivered and craned into place first thing, the first of many delivery trucks arrived in preparation for the initial lift. Slewing 12m long hollow-core planks between two established buildings with only 300mm clearance can be a challenging exercise for any site team. But EMCO’s expert team spent the day exceeding expectations and efficiently placing the planks insitu with no problems at all, dropping in the last plank at 5pm.

The City of Vincent assisted EMCO Building with the required permit approvals to ensure our works for the day were meticulously planned and set out. We are pleased to report the installation was completed without incident, thanks to our bespoke Traffic Management Plan and continued interface with the local residents.

EMCO Building is pleased to be working with the following teams to deliver a quality project.

Client: Starclone Pty Ltd

Architect: Mulder Kampman Design

Consultants:
  • Structural Engineer - Forth Consulting
  • Mechanical Engineer - Froster Design
  • Electrical Engineer - Hegney Design
  • Hydraulic Engineer - CHD
  • Fire Engineer - Schwanke Consulting
