South Regional TAFE Esperance - New Replacement Campus Update

South Regional TAFE Esperance - New Replacement Campus Update

20 Jul 2020

EMCO Building’s new project in Esperance is in its infancy and just getting out of the ground.

This new $16.2m project incorporates the construction of (4) four teaching blocks that include special purpose classrooms, computer laboratories, and simulated industry training environments for community services and nursing/aged care. The project also includes landscaping, car parking, and associated works.

As most of the completed work done thus far is buried, there really isn’t much to see at this stage. The pads for the four (4) main buildings have now been completed along with the road base for the crossovers and carparks. After the initial clearing of the site, approximately 10,000m3 of fill was delivered which brought the pads up to the required levels.

Hydraulic services are well underway with the installation of both the sewer mains and fire services nearing completion. Prelays for three of the four building pads have been finalised and 60% of the footings to the industrial training area have been poured. Despite the rain, the team has started prepping for the ground slabs to be poured this week.

The EMCO Building Project team is pleased to report that progress has been excellent and we are on program as planned.

We are excited to be working with the following teams to deliver a quality project.
