Aegis Shoreline Residential Care Facility Project achieves PC

11 Jan 2021

EMCO Building’s Aegis Shoreline Residential Care Facility Project has achieved Practical Completion.
Construction of the new 3-storey Aged Care Facility in North Coogee was completed in 23 months. The facility comprises 238 beds, all with ensuite bathrooms, as well as nursing stations, hydrotherapy rooms sensory rooms, doctors suites, treatments rooms, activity therapy rooms, laundry amenities, and commercial kitchens. The state-of-the-art facility also includes dining rooms, lounges, theatres, hair salon, men’s shed, and associated administration facilities.
EMCO Building’s project team did a magnificent job on such a complex project. As the facility was constructed in a coastal area and adjacent to a busy rail line, particular attention was paid to the building materials and structural solutions utilised to minimise maintenance and the impacts of weather, noise, and vibration. Additionally, EMCO Building delivered the project adhering strict regulations relating to accessibility and compliance, to deliver an visually appealing, architecturally designed facility.
Congratulations to Stephan Heydenrych (Project Manager), Richard Hancock / Ben Rousseau (Contracts Administrators), and Jeremy Elliott / Diego Martinez (Site Management) on delivering another outstanding project.
EMCO Building was pleased to work with the following teams to deliver a quality project.
