Every now and again a special project comes along that attracts some very flattering media attention. The North Perth School of Early Learning is definitely one of them. A unique development that integrates the heritage listed North Perth Police Station (built in 1907) with a state-of-the-art three story early learning facility, it was recently featured in a great article by Business News WA.
We’re very flattered by their excellent piece and we thought we’d share some of our favourite bits, especially some of the interview they did with our chief executive Ron Keogh.
“I think one of the reasons they came to us is it’s an incredibly difficult site - you’ve got the heritage police station, which was a full refurbishment,” he said. “Then it’s been added onto with the early learning centre...it’s in a residential area with properties right on the boundary… Those sort of projects take a lot of planning and management to make sure that they run smoothly.”
Any media attention like this is great, but we’re especially pleased that this combined heritage restoration and construction project got some coverage as it’s a great example of a couple of the things that makes us one of Perth’s leading commercial builders: our restorative projects and ability to build modern, highly specialised commercial buildings to meet specific client needs.
Both types of project require a unique set of skills and the ability to manage and coordinate Perth’s skilled tradesmen in a way that guarantees consistently excellent results for our clients.
If you have an upcoming project that requires restoration work or the construction of a specialised modern building (or elements of both), get in touch with us today to find out more about how we can deliver you something as fantastic as The North Perth School Of Early Learning.
