Murdoch University Student Village
The village is comprised of four buildings which house 296 students. Three of the buildings were 4 level residences and a single level building for amenities such as laundry, change rooms and common usage facilities. In addition the Project incorporated a pool with village green atmosphere to enhance the ambiance for students using the accommodation.

St Stephens School
This two storey Design and Technology Learning Centre was constructed from Concrete Tilt Panels and Structural Steelwork. The job also included a new Electrical Sub-Station and Fire Pump House.

Kolbe Catholic College
This extension and upgrade of the existing Year 7 Learning centre was designed by Parry and Rosenthal Architects, including the addition of hard courts and provision of locker shelters/external paving. Practical Completion was granted on 10th June 2009.

Methodist Ladies College Classrooms
The project comprised a new 6 storey modern design [3 storeys below ground & 3 storeys above ground level] Middle School added to the existing campus. The new building is in a prominent position at the rear of the school, overlooking the Swan River, providing expansive river views to the learning areas. It is surrounded by the existing Walton & Burnside Boarding House, and is directly connected to the refurbished 19th century Craigmuir House. This building was renovated as part of the project.

Prendiville Catholic College
A new performing arts building complete with full back and front stage facilities, sound proofed music rooms and teaching areas. The contract required major design input and careful construction methodology to erect the rear slanting precast concrete panels of the Auditorium which were at a 5:1 pitch. With both structural steel and mezzanine concrete suspended slab interfacing with these panels, the final construction sequence was impressive.

Iona Presentation College
The project consisted of a major new sports centre and undercroft car parking facility for Iona Presentation College. The new building was constructed close to neighbouring residences and all while the school remained fully operational. Extensive earthworks where required to construct the below ground car parking and storage areas which extend under the full area of the Sports Hall. The new facility overlooks the existing pool area and ties into the existing school buildings.

Swan Valley Anglican Community School
A second stage addition to the existing school, comprising of 3 new buildings including Administration, Food Technology and a Specialist building used for music, assemblies, performances, IT and woodwork.

Presbyterian Ladies College
This major extension to the Junior School required the removal of the rear of the existing school building to expose each floor slab. We then extended all levels to provide a seamless extension.
In order to allow the school to continue to operate careful planning was required with the project phased to allow access to new areas before take over of existing.

Curtin University - Business School
This complex refurbishment of the 4 storey heritage listed ‘Old Government Print Works’ required careful planning and attention to detail. There was a requirement to restore many of the original features prior to progressing with the main refurbishment.
Some areas had to be covered up but a required part of the planning was to ensure that original features were preserved for future generations.

Trinity College - (Science Block)
A purpose built two storey Science Block for Trinity College. The new block is connected to the existing school via a high level walkway with special canopies covering both the walkway and courtyard areas.
As well as constructing the new two storey Science Block a lift was installed to service the high level walkway.

Penrhos College
Major additions and refurbishment that included doubling the size of the existing Sports Hall, adding a Dance Studio, learning areas and a Gymnasium.
In addition, a complete new function centre was constructed with full catering facilities and extensive use of high quality feature finishes.
As well as the new build works, EMCO also carried out extensive refurbishment and additions to the boarding facilities. All work carried out whilst the school remained fully operational.

Chisholm College
A major redevelopment of the Junior School site to add a Senior School. Works included new Senior School buildings as well as major alterations to the existing Administration Block and Library. Minor alterations were carried out within most existing structures. The program was very tight and all work was carried out while the school remained fully occupied.

John Curtin School of Performing Arts
A high profile Performing Arts building visible from both land and sea.
The theatre can seat 474 people with additional standing room if required. There are full front-of-house and back stage facilities, including a rehearsals room on the upper floor with sweeping views over Fremantle Harbour.
The blue glazed curtain wall facade is complimented by full height white precast panels both externally and internally to the auditorium. Internally, the two levels of balcony and high quality finishes, induce the feeling of a prestigious theatre rather than a school facility.

Lake Joondalup Baptist College
A purpose built Technology and Enterprise Centre, finished to a very high quality with extensive use of timber, stainless steel, glass and feature block work.
A key feature of the project is the two storey undercover walkway, which directs visitors towards the Administration Building as well as being the main thoroughfare for students.
Two glass fronted stair towers were constructed with a lift service to the upper level walkway. All works were completed whilst the school was in use.

Edith Cowan University Indigenous Studies Centre
This landmark structure makes extensive use of colours to the curved facade along with an eclectic mix of finishes designed to reinforce the buildings use as an Indigenous Studies Centre.
The main structure is steel and concrete panels with extensive facade treatments.
Symbolism is a central feature of the building and includes skylights in the pattern of the Southern Cross in the main foyer as well as random saw cuts to the polished concrete floors to represent the dry cracked earth of the Australian Outback.
